Hello Brothers and Sisters.

This is Sylva. She lives in Beirut, Lebanon, and attends Lebanon Church of Christ. She was invited to study the bible and the lesson of the "Cross" made all the difference in her life. She got baptized on August 19th 2011. Since then Sylva showed nothing but a serving heart ready to be always available for the church no matter the challenges she was going through. Today she leads, with love and compassion, the pre-teens and the kids kingdom ministries.
Her dream is to live for Jesus and bring as many people as possible to Him.
She is a mother of two adorable children, and works as a math teacher. Over the years, Sylva and her family suffered from a financial crisis especially when her dad went through medical treatments in 2006 (cancer patient with diabetes). Being the only child of the family, it was truly hard on her and a big responsibility to be able to handle all the challenges. For the past two years, the economy in the country has become very difficult for all of them, especially that her husband was out of work because of COVID. She had to tutor privately in order to put food on the table and take care of her family as well as parents.
What she earned was used to pay bills and food but not mechanic bills for the car for several years. Therefore, her basic need is to fix her car since she works a long way from home and there is no proper transportation in our country. Finally, Sylva would like to thank you for your generous hearts.

Mt name is Froylán, I am 36 years old from Culiacán, Sinaloa and I have lived in Mexico City since February 2012. I was baptized in Culiacán on April 27, 2008. My wife is called Ester, she is 41 years old, she was born in Tlaxiaco, Oaxaca and has lived in Mexico City since 1994. She was baptized on February 11, 2001. We were married on December 28, 2013 and we have a 6-year-old daughter named Sofía.

In the Church, God has allowed us to serve in different ministries, and we feel so blessed to be a so closely tied to the body. Unfortunately, on June 26 we suffered a car accident on our trip from Mexico City to Culiacán.

My wife and I were hospitalized for two weeks. And now we are buried in expenses for our aftercare. The brothers and sisters in our region have been generous and loving, but we have many expenses and we are in great need of your support.

Greetings from the Pantitlán region. We are desperately requesting your valuable support for our brothers in the faith, Eduardo and Patricia who have been married for 30 years. On March 4, 2020, Eduardo was falsely accused of robbing a cargo truck. The Mexican authorities arrested him, incarcerated him and in March of 2021, he received his final sentence of 11 years and 8 months.

His family has undergone tremendous emotional pain and now they are buried in debt due to legal fees and the loss of Eduardo’s income. Our home church has provided as much financial support as possible, but with the onset of COVID, most of our members have been facing their own battles and they cannot afford to help Eduardo’s family.

Patricia now faces the difficult task of managing her home and making weekly visits to the prison to bring her husband food for the week. The family is in great need of assistance as they navigate through this tremendous life change. Your financial support and prayers are greatly appreciated!

Fernando Arias and his family serve in a very poor community. They are very faithful and love God deeply. They are helpful in their community and they never complain.

They are requesting help to build a bathroom because they currently do not have a functioning toilet. Their kitchen is also in really bad shape and your support for this family could make a world of difference for them.

Request: $800

Hello brothers and sisters, I am Laurence a Cameroonian, 41 years of age, and a disciple of Jesus since 2002. I married in 2007, and lost my husband in 2015, 6 years ago. I have 3 children, but no home and no family support to help with my children. The work I do only allows me to survive from day to day and I do not have the means to rent a house. Thankfully a friend allows my kids and I to live in her cabin, but it is in very poor condition. The worst part is that the roof has completely deteriorated, and the children have spent many sleepless nights while it rains on their bed. We have been living in these conditions for the past 6 years, but this year, with the help of God, I would like to get us out of this unpleasant condition.

Three years ago, I received a donation of aluminum sheets that could be used to repair the roof, but I have not been able to use them because it is difficult to save the money for installation costs. I am desperately in need of your help to pay for the cost of these services so that my children can sleep on a warm bed this rainy season. God bless you!

Art Franklin is a 54-year-old brother in Christ who in 2003 was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. After his diagnosis, he and his family (wife Nora and two boys) moved from Atlanta to Statesboro GA to take care of his elderly Mother-In-Law. In 2014, Art’s condition progressed to where he now requires a wheelchair in order to be mobile. The reason we decided to start a private donation fund for Art is to raise money to acquire a wheelchair accessible van with adaptive controls which he can drive with just the use of his hands. In addition to giving him the freedom to be able to get around, an adaptive controls vehicle would also provide therapy by engaging motor functions and sharpening hand-eye coordination.

Despite the challenges Multiple Sclerosis has thrown at him, Art manages to remain a positive and encouraging inspiration to his family and friends. Art is known and well-loved by many and is a respected member of his community where he has been involved for many years. He grew up playing soccer in Florida and in 1985 he received a scholarship to play at Georgia Southern where he was a four-year Letterman. His talent then led him to play semi-professionally for the Arizona Cotton (USISL). Art has continued to follow his passion for soccer by coaching at Statesboro Highschool. He was also a Coach and Director for the Statesboro United Soccer Club.

Art’s passion for soccer is only surpassed by his love of God and his family. He ALWAYS makes time to serve others and offer friendship to those in need. Those that know him can attest that this selflessness has always been the hallmark of his character. That is why when we learned of this need it was a no-brainer to try to help this man who for so many years has given so much of himself.

We have set a goal of $30,000.00 in order to equip Art with a reliable mode of transportation that will enable him to have the freedom that we so often take for granted. We want to thank you in advance for contributing and for bringing this simple joy into Art’s life. God Bless!

Elias and Angelina have been serving God and their community for over 30 years in one of the northern provinces of Mozambique. Nacala is a port city with great potential but is still quite rustic in many aspects. Elias and Angelina became disciples of Christ two years ago when they visited the church in Maputo. Through their conversion many of the people they ministered to before have also become disciples. Moved by the fellowship they encountered in the church, they offered up their home as a meeting place for the church. Over the years, the home’s structure has become unsafe: the roof has gaping holes and the stones walls are crumpling and falling down. Elias owns the land, but his congregation is very poor and they do not have the funds to repair their place of worship.

Some money was raised to help install a public bathroom for the congregation and repair the roof. But, the money ran out before repairs were completed. During the rainy season a wall collapsed and while making repairs, a den of snakes was unearthed. The church in Nacala along with Elias and Angelina are requesting $5,000 to complete the repairs. Donations would give their small church a place to meet, bathrooms, and a way to deal with the snakes. The whole congregation would benefit greatly from your support!

Irma is a single mother and has been a faithful disciple for more than 18 years. At the onset of the COVID pandemic, she lost her job and she is currently unable to pay for her food, transport, electricity, or water. Due to her situation, she had to move in with one of her children. Her son, unfortunately, doe not have a steady job at the moment and needs major repairs done to the roof of his home in order to make it livable.

Hello my name is Die Konan Arnaud and I am a student at Nangui Abrogoua University in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. I was baptized just a little over five years ago on July 12, 2015. I come from a large family of ten children, four of which are currently enrolled in school. My mother lives in the village and grows food to feed our family. My father is a taxi driver, but due to his advanced age, is unable to earn enough money to cover the costs of all our education expenses.

I am currently living with my uncle who is helping me with school, but I face constant persecution from him because of my faith. The financial needs of my family are vast. I am working hard to learn about raising livestock to help our situation and I hope to have a business of my own in the future. A donation of $300 will help to alleviate some of the burdens my family faces and help us to move forward.
