The Middle East is a beautiful region rich in natural resources, history, and culture. Its significance to many has created unseemly never-ending wars and conflicts that have caused the displacement of over 20 million people. Research on the needs in the region show that nearly 35 million require daily humanitarian assistance. (Pew Research Center)

The hardships that follow from living in a conflict zone spare no one and many of our brothers and sisters in this area are in urgent need of our help. The financial instability that our spiritual family faces is grave. Toppled governments and civil unrest makes it nearly impossible to earn a living, especially when the valuation of your country's currency is on a steep decline.

Below are the present needs for 10 disciple families/individuals. As always, 100% of your contributions will go directly to assist our brothers and sisters. God bless!

Hello brothers and sisters, my name is Deyanira. I have been a follower of Christ since my baptism 25 years ago and I am an active member of the Church of Christ in Monterrey MX. My husband, Jorge, and I have three-year-old twin boys. We feel blessed to have them and we are so grateful for the support we have from the church.

The past year has been a very difficult time for my family. My husband lost his job, and I was hospitalized due to COVID. I have been suffering from the long-term effects of COVID for months and my husband is having a difficult time finding permanent work.

We are really behind on our bills. We are asking for your support to pay our electric, water, and housing bills so that our boys can have a safe place to call home.

Thank you so much for your consideration!

Lito and Raissa have been faithful disciples for 28 years. Their commitment to God despite the many challenges they face is truly admirable. Lito has had a very difficult year. He is diabetic and recently had to endure surgery, a heart attack, dialysis, and worst of all – the loss of his eldest son to Covid.

Lito has been a hardworking leader and is part of our ministry in Paranaque.  His faith has been a beacon and inspiration to so many.  Sadly, their financial condition has worsened despite his business and the church’s help.

Their family has incurred over $30,000 in expenses and they are dire need of assistance. Your support for this incredible family will make a world of difference.

My name is Sylvie Paco. I am a mother of 3 children, and a disciple of Jesus Christ in the International Church of Christ of Kinshasa.

My husband, who is a disciple of Jesus Christ, worked in a restaurant in town. His work would allow us to buy groceries, pay the rent and school fees for the children. Due to the Covid19 Pandemic, the company has decided to reduce the workforce. My husband lost his job. We are currently in financial difficulty paying for our children's schooling. I call on you my brothers and sisters to support us during this difficult period that we are going through.

We are requesting $1000, to help with us during this time. God bless you.

Margaret lives in Eldoret, Kenya. This is in Rift Valley part of Kenya. She attends the Eldoret Christian Church. Margaret was reached out to in 2005 and baptized on 1st March 2005. She has helped three souls to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. She has two sons. One is a disciple and in his high school studies.

Margaret is a victim of Covid-19 enforced challenges. She has casual employment and the onset of Covid-19 infections saw her miss pay for four (4) months. It has made it very challenging for her to pay rent and buy food. Her household has two members, herself and her son.

She plans to use the financial support on rent and food. She is in need of $300.

Hello family,

My name is Aracely and I have been a disciple for 12 years. I have two sons. Anderson (age 7) and Whilber (age 9). As a family, we have gone through many difficult situations due to the few employment opportunities available in our country.

We live in a marginalized area in our country, and we are requesting special support for our children’s education. Specifically, due to the pandemic, my boys will continue to have online classes this year. We have tried to use cell phones to complete their online courses, but it is nearly impossible for them. We are in great need of two personal computers to allow my sons to complete their studies remotely, but we lack the resources to buy them.

The price of a laptop in Guatemala is approximately $500. We are asking for $1,000 to pay for the computers the boys need. Your love and financial support will provide so much hope for my children and encourage them to work hard to improve their future.

My husband and I came to church in 1992, at the invitation of my brother. By the end of August 1992, my husband and I got married and we were baptized in Christ. Since then, we have served in the children's ministry, the worship team, and the media team for the last 20 years.  Unfortunately, my husband contracted COVID and I tested positive 4 days later. He is diabetic, hypertensive, and has already developed complication such as pneumonia. He is in a delicate state and the costs of the medicine he has been prescribed is completely out of our reach.

We are asking for your help as our family copes with this illness. Your assistance will go a long way to help us get the medication and healthcare we desperately need at this time. Thank you so much for your help!

Appollinaire and his wife Marie live in Bujumbura, Burundi. They have 6 children. Appollinaire was baptized on 17th May 2013. In that year, he was invited to bible talk by a disciple and he loved it. He then came to church and started studying the bible. It didn’t take long before he was baptized. He is a faithful disciple and a great servant at church. His wife studied the bible but she is yet to commit her life to Jesus.

Appollinaire is the only bread winner in the family. He is hardworking in the construction field. Since Covid 19 struck the construction industry in Burundi was badly affected and rendered him jobless. He goes to construction sites regularly in search of work but he gets very few opportunities. He is requesting support to buy food for his family of eight.

Thank you so much for being of support to us and may God continue to bless your giving.

My name is Diego, a disciple in the Church of Christ in Monterrey since 2003. Although I was out of the church for some time, God was gracious and allowed me to restore my faith in 2011. My wife Blanca and I have been married since 2005 and we have 3 wonderful children.

This pandemic has been very challenging for our family. Right before the onset of COVID we started a business, and we were forced to shut it down because we had no sales. Unfortunately, this led to us losing all our investments and assets.

A few months ago, my mother financed a car so that I could work as an Uber driver but, I was recently hit by a truck. The damage was extensive and the repairs are expected to take a long while and we were left without a source of income.

Your support for our family during this very difficult time is greatly appreciated.

Alphonsine, has been a faithful disciple for more than two years in the Kinshasa ICOC church. She is a single widower who sells timber for a living.

After the pandemic, the cost of timber skyrocketed and it has become impossible for Alphonsine to buy and resell timber. As a widower, the burden to provide for her children is very heavy. Her income now is next to none as she is still seeking a new way to earn a living. Our sister and her children need financial help to pay for the most basic of things such as groceries, rent, and school fees.

Your help for this family is greatly appreciated!
