Ikeh lost her husband in May 2016 after a brief illness. After his death, the responsibility of providing for her children and their needs fell completely on her shoulders and it has been a struggle to provide for them. Until the pandemic hit, she was working odd jobs to make ends meet, but since COVID, she has had almost no new job opportunities and is in great need of assistance.
