In 2003, a group of disciples opened a home for elderly women in response to the increasing need for housing for older women without support or a place to live.

Currently, there are 14 women staying in the group home. Before joining the home, many of these women were sleeping on the street without food, access to healthcare or anyone to even talk to. Thanks to the love and care that the disciples have provided, 9 of the women in the home have become Christians.

Sadly, there are still many more women in need and it is the dream of the sisters that run the home to expand and provide services for others in need. There are many needs for our sisters who currently live in the group home. They are in need of support for their meals, healthcare costs, and other basic needs. Your financial contributions will make a big impact for our sisters that have already endured so much!

Leena and her husband Vijay are a vibrant part of the church in Mumbai. They have served in many ministries and they have two lovely daughters. They are hard workers, but despite their endeavors, they live in very poor conditions in a slum outside Mumbai.

Leena suffered a terrible fall in the shower and severely injured her back. To deal with the pain, Leena took painkillers, but they only masked the injury and now her back is much worse. During the COVID outbreak, Leena lost her job and she and her family do not have the means to pay for her healthcare. Given her worsening condition, it is possible she may need surgery. Leena and her family are seeking your financial assistance as they endure this incredibly difficult time.

There are more than 56 baptized members in the Churches of Christ in Vijayawada, Penamaluru, and Nunna, India. The faithfulness of our brothers and sisters in these areas is inspiring as they gather to worship together despite the prosecution that some of them have faced because of their faith. The living conditions that many of them endure are difficult to imagine, but their faith and conviction is unwavering regardless of their circumstances.

The world pandemic has made the situation for those who were already struggling to survive unbearable. This is a very trying time for many in our family of believers in these regions. The Church of Christ is asking for assistance to purchase every day food such as rice, millet, pulses, masala, and oil to help the families in its church with dire needs. Your donation will make a world of difference to these families and are greatly appreciated.

In the course of a year and a half, India has registered nearly 30,700,000 cases of COVID, Many lives have been lost, and many others have been changed forever. By the grace of God, the number of new cases has significantly dropped, but the needs of our brothers and sisters are still growing everyday.

Throughout the churches in India, there are many brothers and sisters in search of help with medical bills, funeral expenses, and assistance with rent, groceries, and basic needs.

As our family of believers fight to overcome the affects of this terrible virus, they need your help! Please consider donating to help some of the most hard hit people in the world. God bless!

For the past few months, the rate of COVID infections in India have broken records throughout the world. Thanks to the generosity of many brothers and sisters, Especially The Family (ETF) has been able to directly help more than 700 of our spiritual family members in the region. The help that the disciples have received has provided them with the means to feed their family, pay for healthcare, and maintain a roof over their heads during a time of turmoil and suffering in their country.

Your help has brought life-changing support and inspired many in their faith as they face the troubles that surround them, but THERE ARE MANY MORE IN NEED! Please continue to join us in prayer and giving as we continue to send help to our brothers and sisters in India.
