Hello brothers and sisters, my name is Rhony and I have been a disciple for 12 years. My wife, Nathacha, has been a faithful disciple for 4 years and we have a beautiful two-year-old daughter, Rhonica. My wife and I love children and we serve as Kids Kingdom coordinators, even now, after the building where we meet was destroyed by the hurricane.

Nathacha and I make a living by selling street food. Our income varies from week to week and there are times when we are not able to pay for all of our expenses. We are working hard to improve our business so that we can offer our daughter a brighter future, but for the time being, we need your help. Brothers and sisters, we thank you for your generosity and we pray that you can help us to pay for our basic needs as we work through this difficult time.

Request: $800

Hello brothers and sisters, my name is Jerome. I have been a disciple for 13 years in les Cayes, Haiti. My wife Maude has been a disciple for 8 years and together we have 2 beautiful children, Stanley who is 14 and Sasou who is 10 months old.

We serve the church in many ways for example we are responsible to make sure the bread and the wine are set up for every sunday otherwise no body will have communion after the sermon. We also serve the widows of the church to make sure they have the basic things.

My wife and I sell rice, beans, and milk, but at times our sales do not generate enough money to cover the costs for a family of four. I work hard under the sun to have the rice ready to be sold, but things have become very difficult lately and we are seeking your assistance to keep food on the table and keep our son in school. Your support for our family in this time of need is greatly appreciated!

Request: $1000

My name is Mericiane. I am a single woman and I became disciple about 20 years ago. I was baptized in Port au Prince in May 30, 2001 but I have lived in Les Cayes for years. It has been my joy to serve the kingdom of God in many ways but, over the past few years I have developed arthritis and it has been very painful for me. My own family is unable to help me, but thankfully a disciple family has graciously allowed me to live with them though they themselves do not have much.

It is very difficult for me to get to my medical appointments because I am not working and I cannot afford my healthcare costs. The earthquake has devasted our country and has made it even more difficult for me to find any kind of employment, so I am asking for your support to pay for my medical costs and transportation expenses to get to my appointment. Thank you in advance and God bless you!

The people of Haiti have endured an especially egregious year. The recent earthquake in Haiti, has caused a tremendous amount of physical damage to our country. Coupled with the stress of the pandemic and political instability, disciples in this part of the world are need of both financial and spiritual assistance. Many of our brothers and sisters have been left with nothing else but their faith in God and our looking to us to lift them up in prayer and support their needs as they bear the challenge of rebuilding their lives.

Below is the story of one family who is in need of your love and generosity:

Hello, my name is Genese. I live in Les Cayes, Haiti and I have been a disciple for 13 years. Since I was baptized inFebruary 21, 2008 I have loved being a part of the body and serving as part of the worship team. I am married and I help to supplement our household income by selling cosmetic products. Working in this industry has been very difficult, but I continue to push myself for the sake of my family.

Though things are still slowly being reopened after the massive earthquake, schools will likely reopen in the next month or so, but I currently have no means to pay for many of our household needs, let alone my little girl's tuition. If you are able, we ask for your help to pay for her school and groceries to feed our family. Thank you for your consideration!

Alexander is a faithful disciple of the Kingston Church of Christ since March 1984. He has faithfully served as family group leader for many years along with his wife before she passed away some years ago. He currently serves as a deacon and also a song leader in one of the satellite churches in Jamaica.  Since his wife’s death, Alexander has been taking care of his mother in-law (now 84) who continues to live with him. Alexander later took in his brother in-law who had financial difficulties. Since then his brother in -law (Patrick) has suffered two strokes which have left him paralyzed on the right side of his body and unable to walk properly. Every three months, Patrick has to be taken via taxi for clinic visits 45 minutes away for medical evaluation and therapy. His mother-in-law also has to go to the clinic due to her health challenges.

Alexander is now retired and is currently job hunting. His pension, along with assistance he gets from the church, and the subsidy that his in-laws get from the government heath programme cannot sustain the household adequately. His mother-in-law and brother-in-law have no other source of income.

This request is to assist with medical-related expenses and nutrition.

Hello, my name is Nadesha. My friend Trisha invited me to church in 1999 and I later on got baptized the following year. This year marks 21 years since I have been a disciple. I’ve assisted many with their walk with Christ and I will continue to do so. Kingston Church of Christ has played a huge role in my life and I am grateful for such a caring family.

I am currently 36 years old and I have been working as an accounting officer for 13 years. In 2020 I began experiencing difficulties with my eyes. The ophthalmologist prescribed reading glasses for me at first, but my condition only worsened. My blood-pressure was extremely high and the doctor also told me that my sugar was high. On January 12, 2021, after doing various tests, it was confirmed that I have multiple sclerosis. I am requesting financial assistance to receive the treatment for M.S.
