My name is Dorothy. I am a 56 year old single woman and I have been a disciple of Christ for 23 years now. I am glad to be part of God's family. I make a living by cleaning houses and doing laundry to pay my bills.
Over the last few years, I have not been able to afford to pay rent so have moved in or lived with relatives or friends. Although things have been very difficult, God has encouraged my faith tremendously. Some years ago, through a low-income housing program that I joined I was blessed with a small plot of land to build a house. My hope is to build the house, so that I can have a permanent place to call home.
Due to a terrible crime committed against me, I now live HIV. I am very grateful to those who have taken me in when I was in need, but I have found that it can be difficult for people to host someone with my medical needs. I am asking for your support to build my home and end my homelessness. God bless!
