When Marlene was met by disciples, she was already on a personal journey to find a church with sound doctrine. She enthusiastically studied the Bible late in 2016 and has now been a disciple for more than three years. Marlene is a hard working woman who cares and helps to support three daughters and two grandchildren: Bárbara (28 years old), Bianca (23 years old), Belén (18 years old), Lía (4 years old) and José (5 months old) ). She works diligently as a food vendor, but with the onset of the pandemic her work has been severely limited due to government-imposed restrictions. The little work she can do is also hindered by people’s hesitation for consuming street food due to the fear of contracting COVID. Her oldest daughter, though still employed, has also suffered from the economic backlash and currently only earns half of her normal salary. The children’s father has also stopped supporting them financially because he has also been affected by this pandemic.
During this difficult situation, Marlene and her family are asking for assistance to for one of the most basic human needs, keeping a roof over their heads. Your donation towards their request of $864 will ensure that Marlene and her family have a safe place to live for the next three months.
