Currently, Tom and his family are serving in Bujumbura, Burundi. Tragically, Tom was recently diagnosed with a serious lung tumor that needs an urgent operation. This complex condition requires specialized surgery unavailable in Burundi. Tom was flown to Kenya for evaluation, and doctors determined he needs surgery only possible in India.
