I arrived at the church at the invitation of a disciple, a former colleague from the factory where we both worked 15 years ago. 2024 was a year of both joy and immense challenge for my family. I discovered I was pregnant, but soon after, in November 2024, my husband left me, seeking a divorce and refusing to support our unborn child. I turned to God for strength and guidance. On January 7, 2025, at 32 weeks of pregnancy, I went into premature labor, facing significant risks to my baby's health. An emergency cesarean section was performed, resulting in the birth of my premature baby at 32 weeks. Due to underdeveloped lungs and a lung infection, my baby immediately required respiratory support in an incubator.
She received treatment for the infection for the first 7-14 days. While her condition has stabilized, she still requires respiratory support. Initially, the doctor put her on oral respiratory support, but complications arose that needed an urgent intubation. During this challenging time, my baby has undergone numerous tests, including blood tests to address anemia and low blood sugar. These tests often require fasting, which can be stressful. Thankfully, her brain scans have shown no signs of stroke, a common concern in premature babies. The cardiologist has also conducted examinations, and her heart rates are stable. She receives nutrition through intravenous and oral feeding, and her digestive system and kidneys function correctly. However, the doctors have emphasized the delicate nature of her condition, explaining that complications can arise unexpectedly. This constant uncertainty has filled me with fear and anxiety. I am deeply worried that I may not have done enough to ensure her well-being. I continue to pray for my baby's health and strength. I am eternally grateful for any support you can offer during this difficult time.
