Marla is a 15-year-old girl with that has been a faithful disciple for just a little over one year. She is a very committed part of our teen ministry and currently helps to disciple other young women while also supporting a bible talk. Her parents are very faithful disciples too. Unfortunately, the pandemic has affected their jobs and they made the difficult decision to take Marla out of school due to their lack of funds. El Salvador has a very dangerous public school system. The schools are riddled with "maras" (gangs) that tend to prey on young women so it is not an option for her to enroll in the public system. Marla is eager to get back to her studies, but her family cannot send her back without help. Marla's family is requesting $900 to pay for private school fees while they recover financially.
