Marie has been a disciple of Christ since 2002. She is a widow and farmer who passionately cultivates and cares for her farm. When her father was still living, he took great pride in teaching her how to work the land and sell the crops they produced. Marie currently grows cassava, peanuts, and corn. For years, she has made a living by selling her produce in the markets of Kinshasa, but this year COVID has caused issues transportation and reduced the demand across the country.
It has become incredibly difficult to pay rent and keep up with bills so I am requesting your help as we bear through this pandemic.
