José was invited to visit the church in 2014, in 2015 he studied the Bible and was baptized, and his life was completely impacted. He has been a disciple in the La Paz church for the past 5 years. Despite his age, he is an example of true faithfulness.
José is a great worker, although he is elderly, he continues to practice his profession as a lawyer. Since a health emergency was declared in Bolivia due to COVID, he had to limit his work because of his vulnerability to the virus. At this time, he needs surgery to correct a previous one where the bladder and prostate were affected. Because of the pandemic, our public health system is currently overwhelmed and cannot take many cases. Jose was forced to seek attention at a private hospital which is much more expensive and beyond what he is able to manage on his own. During this difficult time, José requests financial assistance to cover expenses for surgery and other medical costs.
