We are the Hernandez family, my wife Berenice and I were baptized at the Mexico City Church 24 and 27 years ago respectively. We are currently living in Merida, Yucatan. We have two kids, Hernan (14) and Dante (10).
Last year, my son Hernan was diagnosed with a disease named multiple osteochondromas (bone tumors cover by cartilage). On September 2020, he had a 5 hour surgery in which several tumors were removed from his legs and surgical plates were settled on his knees and surgical screws were settle on his ankles.
Nevertheless, he´s been experiencing pain and lack of complete movement on one of his arms. He has tumors on his wrist. He needs a new surgery to remove these tumors, to help him reduce pain and recover complete movement of his hand. Also to remove the plates and screws from his legs. This surgery must occur on the first week of October. Our business, that is our source of income, has been heavily affected by the COVID pandemic and our family income has been drastically diminished.
For this reason we are requesting an economic support to cover the expenses of clinical tests before surgery (blood test, MRI, CT scan) and the surgery itself.
Request: $1,000
