My name is Djan and my husband and I have been a members of the Abidjan Church for close to 30/20 years respectively. I am the mother of 7 children, 3 of which are still dependents and still live in our home. Before the pandemic, our budget was strained, but we were working to make ends meet. I was selling doughnuts at a local high school and the revenue was promising. But after the COVID outbreak, our economic situation has truly disintegrated.
