Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

My name is Danny. My wife, Claire, became a disciple in 2000 and invited me to church. By God’s grace, our three children also became disciples, and I made my own decision to make Jesus my Lord in 2014. For the past 12 years, I have been a faithful member of the ICOC Baguio in the northern Philippines. Over the years, my family and I have been blessed to serve the church in various ways, including preaching and leadership. Though I have been retired for many years and life has changed, our faith and our desire to serve God remain at the center of our family.

In my mid-fifties, I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and have been taking maintenance medication ever since. Managing my health has become more difficult in recent years, especially after my wife, Claire, was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in 2023. Since then, life has been quite challenging as we navigate our health needs while continuing to trust in God. We are so grateful that our children are gainfully employed and help out however they can, and we thank God for providing for our family. However, the ongoing medical expenses for both Claire and me have created a heavy financial strain. With Claire continuing her cancer treatment and requiring constant care, the majority of our resources must go toward her medical needs.

I am humbly reaching out to Especially the Family for assistance with the cost of my diabetes medications. This support would greatly ease the financial pressure on our family and allow us to direct more of our resources toward Claire’s ongoing treatment and care. We are truly grateful for any help you may be able to provide. Your kindness and support would mean the world to me, Claire, and our entire family.
