My name is Cordelia, and I have been a disciple since 2002. My husband and I are part of the ICOC Lagos Church in Nigeria. We have been blessed with three sons, two of whom are also disciples and currently serve in the worship ministry. My health challenges began in 2021 when I started experiencing recurring health problems. For several years, I went through different consultations and tried to understand the cause of what I was experiencing. In 2024, after undergoing medical evaluations, I was diagnosed with heart failure.
Since the beginning of 2025, managing my health has become more challenging. Along with heart failure, I have also been diagnosed with kidney failure, diabetes, and high blood pressure. These conditions require regular medical attention, medications, and follow-up visits to monitor my health and prevent further complications. Because of my health, I have found it difficult to maintain regular employment. I am currently looking for opportunities that would allow me to work remotely while managing my condition. In the meantime, my family depends mainly on my husband's income from his work as a freelance graphic designer and event photographer, along with other side jobs he takes on to help provide for our family.
With the ongoing cost of my medications, medical appointments, hospital visits, and required tests, our financial resources have become limited. We are doing our best to manage our family's needs while also keeping up with my medical care. As part of my continued treatment and monitoring, I have been advised to have a 2D echocardiogram to check the current condition of my heart and monitor whether there have been any changes. I also need to continue my maintenance medications and regular medical consultations.
I am humbly reaching out to ETF for any assistance that may be available toward my ongoing medical care and required tests. Any support would help lessen the financial burden on our family and allow me to continue receiving the care I need. I am grateful for your kindness and for taking the time to consider my situation. I continue to pray for better health and trust that God will provide for me and my family.
