Chellamma, a 94-year-old resident of Old Age Home, has been a devoted disciple for 19 years. Originally from Alleppey, India, Chellamma possessed a natural talent for music, art, and decoration, which led her to pursue a career as a music teacher. However, family circumstances initially prevented her from fulfilling this dream. At the age of 24, she married an army serviceman, a decision that unfortunately led to estrangement from her family. Tragically, she was widowed at the age of 38 when her husband succumbed to an abdominal illness. Left to raise two daughters alone and facing significant financial hardship, she demonstrated remarkable strength and resilience. Chellamma's life took a meaningful turn in 1996 when she embraced her faith in Jesus Christ. Since then, she has dedicated much of her time to teaching the Bible to other women. Her faith has become a cornerstone of her life, providing her with strength, purpose, and the ability to inspire those around her.
Recently, Chellamma experienced the profound loss of her daughter. Coupled with her declining health and limited mobility, she now requires significant assistance. Her grandchildren, unfortunately, are unable to provide financial support due to their health challenges. Chellamma is reaching out to ETF for financial assistance to cover the costs of her bedside support, medications, clothing, and other essential needs. She is deeply grateful for any support you can offer. May God bless each one of you.
