Alfred was baptized in 1988 at Jamaica Church and remained a faithful member for many years. He left the Church for a few years, but his wife, Gloria, maintained her faith and prayed for him daily. During this time, all their children were baptized. Following the baptism of their youngest child, Alfred was restored to Christ and reconnected with the church community. He has been dedicated and committed to the church and currently serves as a leader within his Family Group. Alfred is a carpenter, while Gloria works as a house helper.

His left eye has also been affected by a retinal detachment. Due to his deteriorating eyesight, Alfred has been unable to work, resulting in a significant decrease in the family's income.
